Ben and Williamn 2015 round up

The season started with Ben working hard and entering Torquay Open and traveling with Sutton Tennis Academy. Taking part in both the Men's Singles and u18 doubles. William played in the Boys u16 making it to the consolation final as runner up. He also played u18 making it to the quarter final of the consolation draw which was great especially as he was playing outside of his age group.

Then it was Autumn Grade 3 at Virgin Active, Westside. William played u18 singles. Ben played u18 singles loosing a close game but winning the consolation 6-4 6-2. Ben and William then played Mens doubles lossing a close match. The following day was the Mens doubles with William getting to the consolation final but loosing a brilliant match 4-6 3-6 lasting over 2hrs.

William then entered the Queens Grade 5 winning his first match 5-4 4-0 then onto the Quarter final main draw 0-4 0-4.

The David Lloyd's u18 singles with William winning his first match 3-6 6-2 (10-6), his next match meeting his brother Ben. Ben played first match winning 6-1 6-1 then played William, Ben winning 6-0 6-3 and also won final 6-4 6-0 making it 2nd year in a row u18 winner. William entered Men's Singles with a bye in the 1st round then a loss of 1-6 4-6. Ben entered Men's Singles as well with a bye in the 1st round winning 6-1 6-1 in the next and making it to the quarter final with a 3-6 2-6 loss, playing all 3 matches in the same day(maybe he should have played the following day, live and learn).

Ben entered Aegon Grade 2 event at Nottingham and played a great Men's Singles match with the match result 3-6 5-7 against to a 2.1 rated player.

Ben begins his Men's ranking in September with a 1st win at Queen Club Halifax, William gets his 2 wins there as well. Then onto David Lloyd's Nottingham for matchplay, Ben's first match win 4-0 4-1, 2nd match 4-0 4-0. William got 2 matchplay wins 4-2 4-0 and 4-0 4-0.

Men's Sunderland Open ends the season with a 6-0 6-0 win for Ben and then into the quarter final main draw with a 3-6 4-6 close match. William entered u16 event with a bye in the 1st round then a 3-6 2-6 loss. William also entered Men's Singles getting a bye in the first round and then a close match 4-6 4-6, but went on to the consolation draw winning the Men's consolation final.

William did another matchplay at David Lloyd's Nottingham with a good match 5-4 4-2 and 4-2 4-0 wins.

Both Ben and William end the year at a 5.1 not bad seeing how they have done less than 190 competitions.
